Vampire diaries

Tento serial se dostal na 2 místo top serialů na prvním byli supernatural. Též je natočen z knižní podoby. Podstatou seriali je dívka Elena a její bratr kteří přišli o rodiče. Oba chodí na střední školu. Rodiče se jim zabili při auto nehodě ale Elena zázračně přežila. Pomáhá svému bratrovi se s toho dostat. Bydlí u tety, ktwrá se je snaží vychovavat. Do školy nastoupí nový kluk Stefan (upír) o něm nikdo nic neví a vidává se za studenta. Jak jinak do Eleny se zamiluje jeho tajemství se dozví později. Oba dva si pišou deník. O Elenu začne usilovat Deamon(bratr stefana též upír). Chce se pomstít bratrovi a zbalit ji.Bratři se velice nesnáší. Další postavy jsou kamarady Eleniny: čarodějka, blondýna, bývalý přítel a další.
